Your session with me will be fun! I am a silly gal, and not afraid to get a little goofy so that I can capture the real authentic you. Don’t be afraid if you hear me cackle, make barn animal sounds or sing a little ditty with your kids! This is a time to relax, have fun with your family, and let me photograph your time together.
Location - Let's pick a place that you and your family love, doing what you love - enjoying the beach, playing at the park, making cookies in your kitchen, hiking in the mountains, or even taking a trip to your favorite ice cream shop, family farm or zoo. Feel free to be creative with your choice!
Wardrobe - I want you to wear what you feel comfortable in. In my opinion...wearing color is best! I prefer for you to stay away from a lot of white, and to avoid everyone doing the matchy-matchy thing. I can absolutely help with the choosing and coordinating of your wardrobes. Props - Props are another element of a successful photo shoot. By props, I mean items that mean something to you or your kids. The little ones may love their train set, baby dolls, or a favorite book. The older ones may love their Polly Pocket collection, legos, or a special keepsake or collectible. I love to highlight and capture what they love. Skateboards, hula-hoops, bikes...use your imagination! Maybe it is a favorite chair, an antique quilt, or a treasured art project. Photographing their personality is part of the fun and success of a great photo shoot!
